She wrote 8 songs and recorded them at Warner Bros. Studio in London with Lawrence Juber from Paul McCartney's band, Wings. She wrote and performed 8 songs with Rick Cunah's band for a cable TV show "DownHome USA" which was shown to the U.S. Army troops. Barbara wrote and performed two songs for the TV show "Nashville Gospel". She has written songs with Hank DeVito who wrote "Queen of Hearts" and co-wrote "Small Town Saturday Night".

He taught her to write melodies for bridges that the Beatles called "the middle eight". These are the eight bars in a song that make the bridge. In addition to writing melodies and lyrics for bridges, she wrote lyrics for verses; Barbara is currently singing with the "Peoples Church Choir" in Franklin, Tennessee.
